Knot

I wanted to make the packaging of a simple matchbox more noticeable and engaging using a simple visual solution.

At the core of the idea is the image of a match tied into a knot. I was interested in the visual paradox itself: a simple and familiar object starts to be perceived differently when its form becomes impossible.
